    Hi there,

I love using the Enfold-theme and the Avia Layout Builder. One thing is driving me crazy though:

When I publish a new post the title and category is not displayed on the individual blog post. Neither is the Featured Image. Instead the page just starts with the plain text of the blog post:

This happens only when the page is saved with the Avia builder – if I use the standard editor it looks as it should be, complete with blog title, category and featured image:

Blog title and featured image are always shown on the grid-list of blog-entries on the frontend.

Can you help me with this issue?

    Best, Michael

    Hey Michael,

When you make a blog post via Advanced Layout Builder you have to add everything manually, the image and the title.
Here is a thread for you to consider

Okay, thanks. That’s not the answer I was hoping for, but at least I know what to do now.
Would be great if the advanced Layout Builder would work for blog posts as well. Any hope this feature will be added at some point in the future?

    Best,
    Michael

    Hi Michael,

It does work for blog posts, but like Victoria pointed out, you have to add all content to it manually. It’s for people who want more control over the content in their posts. You can get around this though if you switch over to the default editor once you are ready to save. We don’t have any plans of changing the behaviour of the builder for posts at the moment.

    Hi Rikard,

    thanks for the additional info.

However, your advice doesn’t seem to work. When I write a blog post with the Avia-builder and switch back to the standard editor I see an empty entry. If I switch back to the advanced editor the whole blog post reappears. Strange behaviour?

    Michael

    Hi Michael,

You can create blog post using Default editor and use Advanced Layout Builder shortcodes in that mode https://cl.ly/2f3V3h1v2G3G

If you need further assistance please let us know.
