How can we optimise the excerpts or teasers showing up in the blog layout.

The normal excerpt features don’t seem to be working.

    Hi psipi!

I’m not entirely sure what you mean by optimising? Could you try to explain a bit further what you are trying to achieve?

    Cheers!

    Hi Richard

ok.. so normally if you have a post..
there is a way to say how much you want to appear as a “teaser” or “excerpt”

    E.g. on http://simonhedley.com/updates/
all the posts are showing up.. and they are far too long , so the updates page looks very silly..

If you take the most recent one on London2015.
I would want either for it to say.. “I was asked to help with the London 2015 Europhilex exhibition over 4 years ago. It’s a great example of strategic planning done right and what’s possible when people come together with a focus. … Read More.. ”

or .. be able to enter a whole different “Learn how I’ve worked with London2015 Europhilex to deliver on a great historic event with limited budget… ” .. .Read More..”

Really I’m wanting to be able to customise how the post teasers show up, so that we can make a better user journey through the posts, without doing it manually..

    Hope this makes sense.
