Post shortcodes to elements

Hello – Hope all is well.

Is there a way to add shortcodes to elements?
Such as the Animated Numbers element? I wanted to add a shortcode that animates the number of posts I have published.

/*[mynumbers]*/
function post_numbers( $atts ){
$count_posts = wp_count_posts();
$published_posts = $count_posts->publish;
return $published_posts;
}
add_shortcode( ‘mynumbers’, ‘post_numbers’ );

Then just put the [mynumbers] where the number goes on the Animated Numbers element.
