Hi there,
I have a masonry element on my page with the order set to descending date. It seems to work fine save the first two items are out of order. I tried looking through the support articles on your site and other threads, but none of the solutions help. I even tried adding the sort order function to my themes functions.php file.If I try to change the masonry from ‘Flexible Masonry’ to ‘Perfect Grid’, the masonry element disappears entirely.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Thanks for your reply. Please find the login info attached below. The masonry area in question is on the ‘Welcome’ page.October 11, 2016 at 7:39 am #697652Hi,
Thanks for the login details. Could you try updating to the latest version of the theme (3.8) please? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

RikardOctober 12, 2016 at 3:08 pm #698329Hi Rikard,
Thanks for your message. I updated my parent theme to 3.8 and the issue persists. Are there any other avenues I can take to fix this? Thanks
ColinOctober 17, 2016 at 3:59 am #699748Hi,
Looks like you did a lot of custom modifications to the theme based on the number of files in the child theme folder. Did you do any modifications related to the masonry element or any shortcodes?
Best regards,

All the child theme items are strictly page templates and minor js functions that do not touch any of the core theme functionality. I didn’t modify any shortcodes either. Thanks
ColinOctober 23, 2016 at 1:32 pm #702991Hi,
Upon checking your site by viewing the source, the posts are arranged in the correct order but checking it visually, all are in the wrong order except the 3rd one. Can you try to do the following things:
- In Masonry Settings (Size Settings) can you try to use Perfect Grid or Perfect Automatic Masonry, kindly check if it works properly or not then return it to its original setting.
- Try to disable all plugins and check if the issue is fixed, if not proceed to step 3
- Try to use the Enfold (parent theme) and check if the issue is fixed or not
Let us know if this helps, and what you observe by doing the following things above.
Best regards,
Nikko -
