Hello Team,
This post contains 30 photos, captions and text. This is a Standard Post, there are no Content Elements (Text Blocks) or Media Elements, images are simply added from the library and text is keyed in or pasted. The post had become extremely slow to edit or to add additional content.
Unsure if this is related, when editing posts, selecting the Advanced (Avia) Layout Editor, the content of the post (or any other post) is not longer showing. It does not show when I revert to the Default Editor either. I am using Enfold 4.5.7 and WordPress 5.3.2
What would be your suggestion to improve?
Thanks,

Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?

February 23, 2020 at 9:14 pm #1187136Hi,
Sorry for the late reply, and thanks for the login I was able to open your post in the Classic Editor without any problems, I see that you said that switching to the Advanced Layout Builder caused problems, but this is expected, please don’t change editors after a page has ben created.
The only errors I found was with your favicon, logo, and preloader, all of which are using http instead of https, which is an easy fix, just add an “s” to the links in your theme options.
I would recommend updating your site as you are using 4.5.7 and we are now at 4.7.3, since I found no errors I would recommend checking your webhost to see if you have the one click staging site option, this is a option in most cPanels to create a staging clone of your site so you can test an update on it and your live site will stay up and running untouched. You can always ask your webhost to help you with setting this up if you want. Here are some screenshots of what it would look like:

Thanks for your detailed reply, have updated these minor items.
It is still extremely slow to edit posts. It takes a few seconds to get a response on any change, in any post. Larger posts are extremely slow to update.
Please advise.

You have some files in your child theme. Did you update them with a fresh copy? Especially the single.php.
You can update php to php7.3.

VictoriaMarch 5, 2020 at 5:32 am #1190290Hi Victoria,
Thanks for stepping in.
My website hosting service advised that my website is not compatible with PHP version 7.3 so they left it on 7.0 but increased the PHP settings.
Please advise.
Thanks,
ofekw

VictoriaMarch 5, 2020 at 8:49 pm #1190635Hi Victoria,
Yes, updated single.php with a fresh copy from Enfold 4.7.3.
Is my website compatible with PHP version 7.3 or should I keep the 7.0 version?
Thanks,

VictoriaAugust 14, 2020 at 5:21 am #1237658Hi Victoria,
Am running WP ver 5.5 with Enfold ver 4.7.6.2 (Enfold Child notes that my PHP version is: 7.2.32). Unfortunately the website breaks down when I changed PHP version from 7.2 to 7.3 but it seems to function properly with PHP 7.4. Does Enfold support PHP 7.4?
Thanks,

Yes, Enfold runs on PHP 7.4 too.
If you need further assistance please let us know.
