Got a bug or glitch when editing a post with advanced layout turned on. It removes the ‘Format’ sidebar where you can choose what type of post it should be (standard, link, etc). If I publish it, the proper post formatting isn’t there. Instead I have to switch back to default editor, then publish, to retain the post format and have the category, comments etc links under the articles name.

    thanks

    Hi!

Yes that is the proper behaviour. If you want the posts to behave like regular posts and not pages then you’ll need to use the default editor. The layout builder is for users who need complete control over how their posts display.

    HI Elliot,

Thanks that is helpful. Its just a shame to loose the category and comment links simply due to using the advanced editor. Hope that makes sense.

    Cheers
