    I need it to work with a custom type. And they ask to ask: -D
    “For custom message types:
    Featured image. Other features such as excerpts and shortcuts must be supported by the type of custom post. Please contact the developer of your support topic. ”

    As I replied to the other ticket – yes it should be fine!
    We do support all those for our Custom Post Types
