    My client is having issues with category selection when adding new posts. There are three categories specifically that, when selected, automatically selects other categories as well. Then they have to manually deselect all of the categories that were automatically selected before posting and is rather irritating/time consuming.

    I have not seen this before on any other client sites/themes. Has anyone had this happen? Does anyone know what the issue is? Seems theme or WordPress itself related.

    Hey krisknap,
    Could the other categories be sub-categories? I have not seen this before, have you tried disabling your plugins?

    Some of the auto-selected categories were sub-categories, yes, but some were not.

    I will have to check and disable all 3rd party plugins as soon as I am able.

    Please leave this open until I report back.
