    Hi. Can’t get the post author’s byline to appear even though I have checked off all the relevant boxes. Author is an admin. Can get her pic to show if I do it as a featured pic. But byline is more important.

    Well, I got it to appear but any hints on how to get it to the top of the post rather than the bottom appreciated.

    That would require to do some changes to the html of the single post.
    The best option for you is to hire someone to help you with that process.
