    I create a Tab Element on a page by avia layout builder.
    In the tab of that Tab Element, is it possible to use the avia layout builder to create content?

    Hi frankyfranky!

    You can switch to Default Editor and click on Magic Wand to see full list of shortcodes http://i.imgur.com/n4KXkdm.jpg
    then you can create any of them and copy/paste shortcode into any other content element or into text widget.

    Hey!

    Please switch to Default Editor, not Advanced Layout Builder and you should see the full list of shortcodes there

    1) Create a Tab element in Advanced Layout Builder
    2) Go to the properties of this Tab Element
    3) Click the content of any tab

    Here: already default editor …

    then you man:
    it is impossible to use Avia Layout Builder in Avia Layout Builder …

    what possible:
    use shortcode all the way in this case?

    #280339

    Hi, I think if you make the tab element using the short codes, then you can fill it with more short codes using the magic wand again. So yes, use shortcodes all the way I suppose.

    Hey!

    Thank you for the update.

    @irfan_arif
    : Thank you for helping out! :)

    @frankyfranky
    : Yes, you’re correct. You can’t use the advance layout builder inside the panel options of the avia elements such as tabs. You need to generate the shortcode on another page then paste it inside the tab content.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    FYR

    Purpose:
    a) Client want: WYSIWYG (advance layout builder is good enough)
    b) Builder want: structure not too complicate

    What i did:
    1) create Page for the content of the tabs (fill in a slug)
    keep the menu structure easy read
    e.g. Menu -> subMenu1, subMenu2, subMenu3 (all subMenu is tab content)

    2) Installed this plugin:
    in the Tabs element, fill the content with following shortcode correspondingly:
    [insert page=’slug’ display=’content’]

    Result:
    A) Client: just go to modify the page, the tab content with change
    B) Builder: easier to manage

    PS: DO NOT save the page with tabs element under default editor mode, otherwise, the layout will be ruined.
