Hi !
Is it normal that photos seem to loose their sharpness on the site (see bottom of the page) ?
I mean, in Photoshop the sharpness is perfect. I uploaded them at the 100% good size (485x485px – 72dpi). But on the site the sharpness is really not the same than on photoshop… And I specified “original size” when I inserted them…
But sharpness is perfect when I reduce my window browser and when the photos are stretched…. which is strange because sharpness should be the same when photos are not stretched… as i uploaded them at the good size… (hope my english is clear sorry…).

Any idea ? I’m kind of upset… :(
Thank you very much.Marie

Please note that this is not a theme issue, here’s the image uploaded to the server:

Thank you for your answer !
But for me on the contrary it seems that it’s a theme issue… as the link “with image from the server” is just good, looking indeed like my photoshop file (sharpness, skin texture etc.), and then looking much more better than how it appears on the theme… don’t you see it ?
Moreover all my images have already been exported from photoshop in the best quality (maximum level)…
And how do you explain than the quality is good only when I reduce the browser’s window with images then getting a little bit smaller ? though images should appear like the image server even at the 100% size on the site… which is 485x485px.
????
Am i the only one to have this problem ?
Sorry for insisting and thank you for your help…Marie
March 31, 2014 at 9:51 am #245335OK problem solved. I tried to upload images with a BIGGER size (so the problem was not a “quality compression”, but a “size problem”. I uploaded them in 750×750 and it’s much better now. The strange thing is that 485×485 should have been enough… as I guess images never appear on the site at a 750×750 size… ? but anyway… it’s ok now. Thank you.
