    can you please help me to find out the problem with my portfolio sitemap?
    It does not work (cannot be found), but shown within the index here: http://art2dance.de/sitemap_index.xml

    Hi Paul!

    I tested this on my own site and it seems to work fine. Are all of your portfolio entries published and visible? Try deleting your .htaccess file and then save your permalinks to the default setting in Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks and check again to see if they display. If they do then try the post name permalink setting.

    Also be sure to deactivate all plugins while testing.

    Hi Elliott,

    ok, I got it. It seems, there is a problem with “Yoast SEO” and “Custom Permalinks” plugins. Yoast SEO cannot create sitemap for modified portfolio entries.

    I tried to create xml sitemap for portfolio entries with other plugin: “XML Sitemap & Google News feeds”
    It works: http://art2dance.de/sitemap-posttype-portfolio.xml
