This shouldn’t be hard, but for some reason I can’t do it.

I would like a right side portfolio sidebar with categories and their projects under them like the attached file.
Because this will be constantly updated, I don’t want to just make the navigation manually. I want to use a widget but still can’t get it to look like this.

    Hey KK,

You need to add sidebar to your pages and try adding there the categories widget, just need to make it work with portfolio categories. You can add sidebar in the bottom to the right (on screenshot in private).

If you need further assistance please let us know.
    Best regards,
    Victoria

Thanks for your answer, but I am using the ALB instead of the sidebar (bottom of the screen) as you suggested.
I have been making a MENU called “portfolio categories”, then adding that to a widget.
My problem is getting the hierarchy of the CATEGORY NAME with the project names under it like this:

    CATEGORY
    project name
    project name
    project name
    project name

    CATEGORY
    project name
    project name
    project name
    project name

    Hi,
Thank you for sharing your solution, shall we close this now?

    No- please
I have another issue about the sidebar…

—— I have made a sidebar in a widget on the sample page above.

——And instead of using the ALB to make the sidebar (as I am now)—–

——I would like to put the sidebar in via the enfold theme SIDEBAR SETTINGS to place on the sidebar of each portfolio page globally.

is this possible? or do I have to go back to using the ALB add it one-by-one?
note: I use the full width color element which boots the sidebar to the bottom of the page…

    Hi,
Because of the way sidebars work on portfolio pages, you’ll need to go back to using the ALB add it one-by-one.

    Best regards,
    Mike
