I have set up my website to be a one page scroll down and I have a couple of portfolio sections to display graphics and photography. Is there any way to speed up the process of a photo loading when you click on it? When you click on one of the photos a lightbox pops up but it loads all of the pictures in that section, which takes a long time even though I have shrunk the pictures down to a web format. Can you disable all the photos in that section loading or is there a way to speed that up? I don’t want people having to wait a long time to view the pictures. thanks

Can we see the site and example section live? The only delay in loading the photos is going to be from the size of the images and the rate at which the server responds with the data.
If its an ajax portfolio section then the entire content of that page needs to load in when the user clicks on the portfolio and only doing one item at a time isn’t really doable.
