Portfolio page wont link to other pages in the top nav except home link-Parallax

Hi guys,

Love the theme, ive created a Parallax site and it works great except when i click on one of the portfolio pages i cannot navigate to another page on the top nav menu except the “home” page. Im guessing this is because of the anchor tags. Is there anyway around this? i.e. can i click on one of the top nav menu items and be brought to that part of the parallax site or even back to the home page? I just dont like the top nav having dead links from the portfolio pages.
