Is there a way/plugin to change the title that appears on the page tab of a portfolio item?
    For example on:
    http://www.directionscounseling.com/wp/counselors/michael-bayda/
If you “view source” you see:
<!– page title, displayed in your browser bar –>
    <title>Directions Counseling | Michael Bayda</title>
    I want it to show:
Family & men’s counselor Columbus | Directions Counseling

I’m currently using FV Simpler SEO to change my page titles (at your recommendation).

    Hey satucker!

Try deactivating that plugin and install this one, https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/. It’s the recommended SEO plugin to use with our framework and it let’s you edit the portfolio post type SEO.

    Best regards,

Thanks, although that is a pretty giant bummer. Jouse told me to use the other plugin in Reply #340452. I’ve got about 5 hours in setting titles in the other plugin. is it possible the plugins could coexist? This way I could only add the portfolio page SEO content and not be stuck with making the changes all over.

    Hi!

I don’t recommend it. It would be best to stick with one. I would check out, https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/, it’s a pretty powerful SEO plugin. It also has a bulk editor which makes it so you can quickly change SEO.

    Best regards,
    Elliott
