Portfolio or Blog

Hi, I am building a directory website using Enfold.

For each business page I was going to use a Portfolio entry but if I want to provide a menu of business types that you can browse by Category or Tag is this possible without using Blog Posts instead of Portfolio entries?

Example. Categories like Business Services, Education, Medical.

When you click on Medical it brings you to a page that displays only the portfolio entries from the Medical category.

All I can see to sort them is the Ajax function but that does generate category or Tag specific Url’s.

Any guidance much appreciated.
