Hey All!
Please refer to http://www.coastalav.com.au
I would like use CSS to generate the black text boxes (labels) as per the six portfolio items below the slider – currently they are graphics embedded in the actual images themselves. I would like the colour of the image to change from grey to sepia, as per the current example, but for the text boxes to remain black and centred over the image in any resolution (responsive). The labels would be derived from the portfolio title and as you can see I am using custom links to link to pages.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Andy :)
Hey Andy,
Could you please attach a mockup of what you’re trying to achieve?
Best regards,
Victoria
Hi Victoria
You can see the boxes at http://www.coastalav.com.au and http://www.coastalav.com.au/services
At the moment the image has the black text box embedded into it, so when the mousover is activated, the whole image including the text box and text changes to yellow (sepia) as well. I would like to remove the text box from the image and replace it with text generated from the title of each portfolio item in a black bounding box so the text and black box remain over the top of the image when the mouseover is activated.
Hi,
Unfortunately, it would require quite some time and customization of the theme to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. However, if it’s really important for you to get this done, you can always hire a freelancer to do the job for you :)
