I’m trying to find a way so I can set 3 main category-groups with multiple categories in it. So the users sees a grid of posts and can filter these posts in 3 individual layers.
Example: a bunch of recipes:
Filter 1: Moment (breakfast, lunch, dinner, ect.)
Filter 2: Ingredient (onions, cheese, avocado, etc.)
Filter 3: Establishment (restaurant, lunchroom, beachclub, etc.)So user can see all breakfast recipes by selecting breakfast in the first filter, but when 1 filter is empty, the user can see all recipes with cheese when selected in filter 2. But also select all breakfast recipes (Filter 1) with cheese (filter 2) served best at lunchrooms (filter 3), by selecting a categorie in all filters.
Can this be done with the current version of the portfolio grid? If yes, AWESOME, can you tell me how? Of noet, to bad, does anybody have any idea how I can make this work without creating a plugin?

Yes, I think it can be done you just need to create the categories for example breakfast, lunch, dinner, then add the categories to the portfolio item. Create a page called moments, use the portfolio grid, select the categories breakfast, lunch, dinner and by default it shows all, it should have 3 filters breakfast, lunch, dinner. For the other 2 filters you mentioned, same process can be done. Hope this helps.
