    Hello.

Apologies if this seems rudimentary, but I am just getting back into WP in general and have chosen your theme to produce my new site.

I want to be able to change the slug of the Portfolio Items section called out in the sidebar of WP. The permalink editor only gives me access to the last part of the slug. I’d figure there must be a way to change ‘portfolio-item’ to something else.

    Thanks bunches.
    Tre.

    Hi Tre,

In the WordPress Dashboard, go to Settings > Permalinks and find Portfolio Items Base just change the slug there.
    Hope this helps :)

    Hey, thanks Nikko!

So one other question for you from this noob. Can the Portfolio Items have a landing page auto-generate, or do you have to make a new Page, call it portfolio and then pull in the items? I plan to use the masonry grid that is also on the homepage, but I want it to pull content from the same entry other than what is being pulled to the homepage masonry. Make sense?

Is that something I can do?
    Thanks!
    Tre.

You’ll need to make a new Page, then you can use Masonry to pull items.

That is only possible within a single page but not on multiple pages. The only workaround I can think of for that is using portfolio categories but the process will not be automated.

    Best regards,
    Nikko
