For a new website I’m considering using the portfolio to house two different types of categories, namely:
    – treatments (dry needling, sport fysiotherapy, etc.)
    – treatment areas (knee, jaw, ellbow, etc. )

for the category ‘treatments’ the permalink should be /treatments/[name of treatment]
for the treatment area the permalink should be /treatment-area/[name treatment area]

    how do i achieve this?

I’m using this as I want to make masonary grids for both.

    Hey Peter,
    I recommend using two categories
    ‘treatments’
    ‘treatment-area’

Then add your items to these categories and select these in your masonry grid

    Best regards,
    Mike

Hi Mike, that doesn’t answer the question about the url structure.
the standard will be in example: /portfolio-item/echografie/
but I want treatments to be in example /treatments/echografie/ and treatment areas in example /treatments-areas/knee

    Hi,
Sorry I see your point now, you can only have one Portfolio Items Base, I recommend using posts and categories to have
    /treatments/[name of treatment]
    /treatment-area/[name treatment area]
or you could create a CPT with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), but it won’t be a Portfolio Item.
or you could try a plugin like Custom Permalinks but I don’t know if it will work with the masonry element.

    Best regards,
    Mike
