    Hi there,

I’m trying to replicate a build I’m experimenting with on a testsite I use to see how things work, but I can’t get Portfolio items to behave in the same way!

Here’s how I have set it up:

I have used the Portfolio grid on the front page to show all these portfolio items.
I have created post categories which are the same as the portfolio items
On each portfolio item I have added a masonry grid which calls the same title blog post category.

The idea is that you land on the front page, click on whichever category you like, for example ‘Don’t Say Do Say’ – then go through to the portfolio page for that, where you see all the blog posts in that category.

It’s working on my testsite (see URL in private content) but now that I’m trying to create this set up on my real website (see below in Private Content) I’m getting an error 404 when I click on the the front page portfolio items…

I’ve looked for differences in the setup but I can’t seem to find them. I notice that the URLs are different (please see below in Private Content).
On the error 404 page I notice it says index.php in the URL there – is that the issue and can you explain it???

    Hi Catty47!

Could you try another permalink setting, it looks like your custom one is exactly the same as Day and name would display?

    Regards,
    Rikard

    Hi there,

    Thanks for replying!

Where would I adjust those settings??

    Hi again,

Don’t worry – remembered where to find it in Appearance. That’s worked! I adjusted to post name and the front page link now seems to be working.

    Thanks so much you geniuses!

    :-)
    Catherine
