    I have a portfolio on my site at http://www.kylegilman.net/projects/ and until recently the images were all square. I’m not sure what changed, but now some of them are rectangular. Is this the way it’s supposed to work? I liked it when they were uniform. I’m using a custom child theme, but as far as I can tell I haven’t modified that page.

    It turns out I didn’t actually want a square image. I wanted the Portfolio image size which isn’t exactly square. I selected the Portfolio image size and the problem was still there. Then I realized that the images that were the wrong aspect ratio were all low resolution so the Portfolio image size was never generated for them. Somehow it wasn’t a problem before. I just replaced them with higher-res images and the problem is fixed.
