    image

    Hi-
I have a portfolio site that is heavy in images. I use tinypng.com to optimize the best I can.

Should I group images– say 3 images together to reduce PAGE REQUESTS?

From the (attached) report from websitegrader.com
it seems my pagespeed is deadly slow too.

    any suggestions??? I’m hurtin’

    Hey KK,

According to this test, your site is performing quite good: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/specialmoderndesign.com/snizRZEK/. The server response time is pretty high though, could you try reaching out to your hosting provider to see if they can do anything about that please?

About images, you should try to keep heavy images to a minimum. Though that might be difficult sometimes, if you are showcasing your work.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

ok- thanks- I will contact them.
I was curious if I should group images so there won’t be so many “Page requests” (or whatever that is called)

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. I’m not sure exactly what you mean by grouping images, but as far as I know, there is no way of doing that. A single image will always have its own request so to say.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
