I have two portfolio grids working on the same page. Once showcases our Bases (under 40) and the other one showcases all of my client’s colors (over 500). I’ve setup pagination so the page isn’t overloaded with images, but it doesn’t load all of the images fully. It looks like it gets overwhelmed and just bunches all the photo up. It’s like they don’t have a defined height and once they start figuring it out, the page hasn’t left enough vertical space to fit them all.
For now, I’ve told it to only display 12 per page, but that isn’t a great option to make the customers click through each of the 48+ pages. Do you know why the portfolio grids aren’t working correctly?

It sounds like your database is struggling to keep up with the 500+ quriry, you could try Optimizing Your WordPress Database: https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/optimizing-your-wordpress-database-a-complete-guide/Best regards,
MikeMay 29, 2017 at 10:55 pm #801289Thanks for the quick reply Mike! We are currently using Pantheon and could certainly get them involved on the optimization part… I’ve seen slow loading times, but what I haven’t seen is the enfold portfolio feature only loading the first 100px of the image height and then moving to the next row… it even ends up running off the page. Sometimes, when this happens, you can’t even see the footer. Could you provide clarification on how the database is involved here? This database and server hardware (setup through Pantheon) should easily be able to withstand that number of queries.
