Portfolio Grid overlay on Ipad

Hi

We’ve changed the grid overlays to show the post title and excerpt on hover rather than the arrow icon

Works great on desktop but on iPhone/iPad you click and are taken straight through to next page

Any way we can have the overlay shown on first click and then second click naviagtes to page/post on ipad?

EDIT:SOLVED

I found that to stop iPad hovering and clicking on first click you have to hide the underlying object that you show on hover…. I was using opacity but you must hide it and then display: block on hover and then iPad makes you click twice :)
