Portfolio grid not working

Hi,
I´m encountering a problem with the portfolio grid. I created portfolio entries and categories, but when I´m trying to implement them in a portfolio grid, basically nothing happens, just blank white space. I also had a look at your example pages “Portfolio style” and “One page portfolio” which I think normally should show the portfolio grid, in fact they don´t.
Any ideas what´s wrong here?
