    Hi,
    Love the theme and used it on a number of sites.

    However, if i try to use Ajax preview, it is so slow to load that it becomes unusable. No errors are reported in server logs, but CPU % goes absolutely crazy, can only assume that there are some very inefficient queries to get the Ajax meta data from the custom post type?

    Also please note that it is only an issue with many portfolio entries.

    Have disabled Ajax preview for now, could you please investigate?

    Hey emgidy!

    It looks like your using quite a few items there. I would try splitting the results up into pages or use the “Load more” button in the Masonry element. This will reduce the download time for your users and improve performance quite a bit.

    Other than that I would try contacting your hosting provider about this to see if they have any suggestions. They might be able to play around with the server settings to improve the performance.

    Hi,

    Thanks, we manage our own servers and have already done all possible adjustments, still goes up to 90% CPU only if i activate AJAX preview.

    Was looking around for the ‘load more’ in the Masonary element and could not find it?

    Hey!

    Edit the masonry element then look for the Pagination settings. Set it to “Load More”.

    Hi,

    Cannot find any ‘pagination’ on the Masonry element.
    There is in the ‘Portfolio Grid’, but that does not have a ‘Load More’

    In the Masonry settings it’s an option for the “Pagination” setting.
