In the Enfold theme, I see that it is possible to add a direct URL link when using the “Fullwidth Masonry Gallery”. This works pretty well, but I would like to do the same thing in the portfolio grid. The reason is because the portfolio grid add the sorting feature, which the fullwidth Masonry Gallery does not appear to have. Is it possible to either add sorting to the fullwidth masonry gallery or add a direct URL link to a portfolio grid item?

    Thanks.

    Hi rogersmedia!

Edit the portfolio item then look for Additional Portfolio Settings > Overwrite Portfolio Link setting > select “Define Custom Link”.

    Thanks for replying so quickly.

I did see this option. First, this option is only available when inserting a portfolio grid in a portfolio item, but not when inserting a portfolio grid in a page (not a big deal-I can build the page by using a new portfolio page instead). Second, when I try to use the Overwrite Link Setting “Define Custom Link”, the only way to add new portfolio items appears to be by selecting a portfolio category. What I need to do is Select an image, similar to how a grid item is added in the fullwidth masonry grid, then link that grid image to a URL. Maybe I’m still missing something. Thanks.

    Hi!

You can use a gallery element and this plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-gallery-custom-links/ to apply a custom link to gallery images. https://kriesi.at/support/topic/adding-links-to-a-gallery/

    Cheers!

    Hi,

I’ve followed Ismael instructions to define a custom URL. The URL is http://www.catalyseurbaine.com/projets/sologlobe . Unfortunately, with this URL I’m landing on a page with only the first picture of the project. There’s no description or title or any information about the portfolio. Should I get a page that looks like that?

I’m using version 3.8 of the theme.

    Hi,

Yes, that is the default template of the portfolio item. You can either use the default editor or the advance layout builder to add more content to the single portfolio page.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
