I have a portfolio grid with customers on this page:

    http://goo.gl/p0PNC

As filter categories I use countries. For the current list of customers there were between 5-10 countries visible as filter. Everything worked fine.

Then I added the remaining countries AND translated them in all languages in order to start adding the rest of the customers (about 450 in total). There are 18 country categories and 9 languages to translate them to. I use WPML, btw.

But after having added the rest of the filter categories I noticed that the first filters, which were already visible on the site beforehand, had suddenly disappeared. I haven’t touched the customer items, nor have I touched the categories that were already there.

The only things I did were:

    – Add translations of the existing filter categories

    – Add new filter categories

    – Add translations of the new filter categories

There were no new plugins added, there was no specific CSS added that could cause a display:none; or whatever. Yet, when I inspect the code of the page I notice the following: class=”sort_by_cat hidden “

Is the hidden class supposed to be there, and why is it added to it? I never asked it to be hidden!

    – Disabling all of my custom CSS doesn’t change anything, so no conflicts there.

    – Disabling all plugins except WPML doesn’t change anything, so no conflicts there either.

    – Disabling WPML made only the very first country in the list show up again, but with all it’s translations next to it. Enabling WPMLmade them disappear again.

So I assume it must have something to do with WPML. Perhaps my settings are not correct in “Multilingual Content Setup” of the WPML Translation Management?

It’s very important that these categories are available again, as soon as possible. So please help!

Let me know if you need access to the back end, give me something to contact you by so I can send you a login.
