    I have over 80 portfolio items in 10 different categories.
    When i click on a catagory lets say category ‘A’ and click on the portfolio detail i get nice previous and next buttons.
    They work okay but are not limited to the selected category.
    When i’m in the ‘A’ category and on the first or last item and clcik on ‘next’ i go to other category.
    Can this be limited to that specific chosen category so i can ‘stay’ in same category (which i previous selected).

    In ultimate With a message like ‘this is the last item in this category’ go back to the category or something like that.

    ajax version is not a solution because all my portfolio items contain 40 images per porject set on the portfolio detail page…

    It would be if i made my images in the ajax gallery but i didn’t ;-(

    Additional my Ajax content isn’t getting screened i cannot search for specific term i used in the content.

    Okay, clear answer is there any solution or fix for this in sight?
    It is realy a WordPress problem?
    Can’t find any solution so far…

    Need to go back to Joomla ;-)

    As a workaround you can try to use this plugin http://wordpress.org/plugins/smarter-navigation/
    I personally have not tried it, i hope it works for you!

    Thanks but this plugin doesn’t work either.
    Portfolio still goes to next item which can be totaly out of ‘search’ result…

    Site was 100% ready client looked and found that this was a NoGo.
    Prev/next needs to be in the site with relavance out of the same category..
