When creating a Portfolio Entry, the Portfolio Categories selection list is not showing up any possible selections. This happened when I updated to the latest version (4.8.9). I am also getting Update failed and Publishing failed every time I try to do either.

I set up an account with that email address.
Another problem is that I’m not getting the option of a Featured Image in the right sidebar of any of the pages, so I can’t create new Portfolio Entries like the ones I created already.

Thanks for that, I can’t see a password in the details you posted though, could you include that as well please? There seems to be a htaccess login prompt before the login page is loaded also, please include details for that as well.

Thank you for the info.
The portfolio category selection displayed back when we deactivated the plugins. We are not really sure what happened but it might be due to the cache plugin. It seems to be working correctly now. Please check the screenshot in the private field.
