Hi,
We tried this post but not luck https://kriesi.at/support/topic/portfolio-categories-do-not-work-with-wpml/
We tested and noticed that the project categories dissappear as soon as the WPML plugin is activated and setup.
Any idea how we can solve this since we need to be able to translate the categories.
Love to hear from you.
Hey hotspot!
Can you please update WPML plugin to the latest version firstly and check if that helps?
Cheers!
Yigit
Hi Yigit,
We installed the latest version of WPML yesterday. Just seems there was an prate, unfortunately this did not help.
The categories are – for both languages – not showing up in the backend.
If we look at the prijects, they area attached to a category (only for the default language)
Any idea how to solve this?
Hey!
When you create the portfolio items, did you use the Categories instead of the Portfolio Categories? There are cases where the built-in taxonomy Category box is showing in the portfolio item editor. Please post the login details here. We would like to check it.
Cheers!
Ismael
Ok even worse.
When saving a project again also the attached categorie in the default language is gone!
Please advise we have to go live asap.
Recreating the categories again does work, but ofcourse this does not solve the initital problem.
