    Hi team
    I am creating a sidebar menu and there is the option of adding “Categories” to the menu.
    These categories however are solely “post/blog-items”: News; Frontpage Articles; Images….
    I would like to choose portfolio categories for the sidebar menu. Is that possible?

    Hi nonne!

    Yes, that is possible. Go to Appearance > Menus > Screen Options, enable the “Portfolio Categories”.

    Hi team

    I should probably refrase my earlier question:
    I am new to both WP and Enfold so don’t really know if this is a WP or Enfold “issue”:

    I am in a test phase for a client and have created some portfolio items for which I also added a category.
    On my frontpage/home I made a post slider and chose portfolio entries with the categories I added in portfolio items. Works fine.
    However: When creating a sidebar menu I likewise chose portfolio entries with the categories I added in portfolio items.
    BUT: Instead of showing the portfolio entry (like when clicking the post slider) the menu leads to a page with only the image.
    The breadcrumbs tell me I am in the “Archive for: Kasserejser” (name of the portfolio item) and: “You are here:Home / Portfolio / Portfolio 3 Column Ajax / Kasserejser”
    Why is this happening and what can I do to correct it?

    Hi!

    If you add a category link to the sidebar menu it will link to the archive page of this category (i.e. http://talsammen.dk/test-cm/portfolio_entries/kasserejser/ ) which shows all items of the selected category. It seems like you just added one item to the category at the moment but if two or more items are assigned to the category more items will be shown on this page: http://talsammen.dk/test-cm/portfolio_entries/kasserejser/ . If you want to link to the single entry: http://talsammen.dk/test-cm/portfolio-item/kasserejser-c300/ then don’t add a category link to the menu but use the “Portfolio Item” select box: http://www.clipular.com/c/5472010608050176.png?k=0QNm_T_8INHl2Ei4AJx6AEMRjUI to add one or more portfolio entry links to the menu.
