Hi! While I see some bugs while finishing http://wp6.rudelabs.com
My portfolio structure is :
> Desktop apps
> Game Porting
> Mobile Apps
> Second Screen AppsAlthough I only have one project inside Second Screen Apps, if I click on any portfolio on homepage, my breadcrumbs always are “Home > Mobile Apps > second screen apps > project name”. Please, could you help me? the only project which must be on secod screen is motogp.

Can you please add the Second Screen Apps? We’ll check it.
Cheers!
IsmaelOctober 23, 2013 at 10:01 pm #179972Of course! http://wp6.rudelabs.com/mobile-apps/second-screen/
You can see as this project http://wp6.rudelabs.com/portfolio/motogp-live-experience-2013/ (who is a Second Screen Apps project) has the same kind of breadcrumb as this one (http://wp6.rudelabs.com/portfolio/ibeach/) once you click the portfolio at homepage. If you click the porftolio project on Mobile Apps, the breadcrumb inside the project works properly, but if you click portfolio projects on home, always says it’s a “Second Apps” portfolio… :(
Thank you!
October 24, 2013 at 9:32 am #180159Hi!
Did you set the Mobile App category as Second Apps’s Parent category?
Cheers!

October 25, 2013 at 9:44 am #180555Hi!
WordPress doesn’t know which “portfolio grid” is the parent page of a “single portfolio entry” because the portfolio grid is actually just a shortcode which is embedded into the content of a page. Kriesi found a workaround and Enfold stores the id of the portfolio/grid page into a session. If the session data exists the breadcrumb will show the portfolio grid link in the breadcrumb, otherwise not. I.e. if the user first views the grid page (Mobile Apps) the server will save the id into the session and as soon as the user views the single portfolio entry Enfold uses the session data to build the breadcrumb. On the other hand (if the user accesses the portfolio entry directly from the homepage) it won’t save a session/id and the breadcrumb won’t show the portfolio grid link.
If you don’t want to show the portfolio grid page in the breadcrumb but just the portfolio categories of the current entry you can use the code I posted here https://kriesi.at/support/topic/breadcrumbs-with-portfolio/
Best regards,
PeterOctober 28, 2013 at 9:04 am #181467I’m sorry but I really need the breadcrumb well done, this solution doesn’t work for me because it doesn’t work as user expected… The breadcrumb should be Home > Portfolio > Category > (subcategory) > Project. Any other solution won’t work for any certified website… :(
October 28, 2013 at 9:17 am #181471Hi!
It’s how the breadcrumb works at the moment. If you use the code I posted here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/breadcrumbs-with-portfolio/ the structure should be Home > Portfolio Category > Another Portfolio Category (i.e. subcategories) > Project. I’ll tag this thread for Kriesi – maybe he can provide a better solution…

PeterOctober 28, 2013 at 9:27 am #181478Thanks, I’ll try it then…
October 29, 2013 at 9:09 am #181957Hey!
Ok, please let us know if it works for you or not.
Cheers!
PeterOctober 30, 2013 at 7:23 am #182341Thanks Peter, it works! I have to activate the portfolio/ page in order to work properly, but that’s a good solution.
Thank you very much!
