    Unable to update plugins on a site running:
    Wordpress 5.0.3
    Enfold 4.5.2
    Php 5.6

    Each time I’ve tried the site goes down and needs to be reset to the previous days data. Wondering if it’s an issue with the Php needing to be set to 7.0, 7.1 or 7.0.

    Can you please check server log for error?

    Yes, running php7 is a way to go.

    Thanks for getting back to me Victoria. Updating to php7 did the trick. Should I do 7.1 or 7.2? I manage several sites using Enfold and would like to be sure before changing things.

    Hi Barbara,

    Either version should work fine, but since 7.2 is the newer version of the two then I would recommend using that.

    Thanks so much Rikard. I switched the up php and it resolved the issue. I really appreciate the help.

    One side issue for another client. I’m trying to set up the mailchimp newsletter module to have the name and email on one line like in the Shop Demo home page. Is there a place to access that info?

    Hi Barbara,

    Thanks for that, but all the elements are on the same line on that page. Isn’t that what you wanted? If you want to copy that to a different page/site then you can activate debug mode in order to see builder shortcodes: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-advanced-layout-builder/#debug-mode, then simply copy/paste the shortcode to the new page/site.

    Hello Vinay,
    Still wasn’t able to resolve the issue but have convinced the client to use the standard format. So please consider this ticket closed.
    For future reference, if there is a simple fix for creating horizontal Mailchimp forms I’d like to know.

    Hi Victoria,

    Yes, I would appreciate the css that would allow the mail chimp signup to be on one line.

    Fixed the problem on the other site. Somehow the stylesheet and php got corrupted and I was able to remedy it by creating a new child theme and copying the data to the old child them.
