The massage site seems to work fine on my end, then only problem is your SSL certificate which is not working.
Your other site is returning a 500 internal server error though. Could you try to completely remove the theme folder from the server via FTP and then reupload a fresh copy from your Themeforest account to see if that helps please?
Also, what version of PHP are you running on the sites?
Best regards,
RikardApril 9, 2018 at 9:49 am #939026Thanks Rikard, I will check on the SSL for the massage site. I did not remove the theme folder yet, but I checked the PHP version and notice that it was running an older version, so I changed it to 7.0 and the site is up.
Now, a new issue has come. I can not login to the website. Once I put in the site address with wp-admin it will not kick over to allow me to put in my credentials for logging into the dashboard.
Do I need to open up another thread?
April 9, 2018 at 1:52 pm #939186Hi,
Thanks for the feedback, though /wp-admin is working fine on my end on both the sites you posted in your initial post. Did you try in an incognito window using Chrome?
Best regards,
RikardApril 9, 2018 at 2:04 pm #939212Site just went back to error. I did nothing but check your reply, and tried to look at the site. And earlier nothing worked on the portfolio page.
Why is everything falling apart or failing?
April 10, 2018 at 4:53 am #939554Hi,
Thanks for that. I tried to load both your sites just now and I can’t see any problems on either one of them. Could you please try to be a bit more specific as to what problems you are having?
Best regards,
RikardApril 10, 2018 at 5:13 am #939558Please click on any portfolio item HERE it states that there are too many redirects and will not load. Before the update that section was working fine.
April 10, 2018 at 11:45 pm #940072Hi,
That issue is from your hosting provider.
Can you check with them, they will be able to identify the issue form their console and log files/Best regards,
BasilisApril 11, 2018 at 1:41 am #940127I have checked with my hosting provider, and they mention:
Them: the Enfold theme is your problem, there are a lot of error codes that we see. And there aren’t any problems when the theme is switched to another theme.Me: Can you check my other sites please?
Them: Yep, same errors plus others. Check your theme developers with Enfold, or switch to another theme.
Is it possible that other themes that you guys have are doing the same? I am really trying but there seem to be the blame game going on.
April 11, 2018 at 2:06 pm #940502Hi,
Thanks for the feedback. We don’t want to play any blame games, we want to solve your problem, but this is not something I have seen before. If it was theme related or a general problem in the theme, we would obviously have been flooded with customers stating the same thing. That is not the case so it leads me to believe that this is something local to your site.
The possible culprits here are either your server environment, plugins or your theme. A combination or those would be more likely though. Since we haven’t seen this before and I can’t see any error messages on the page accept the obvious “error” text, then I think we will have to start with some general debugging, for instance:
Try to deactivate all plugins to see if that helps. If not, then please try to overwrite all theme files with a fresh copy from your themeforest account: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/. If that doesn’t help either then you could try to recreate one of your portfolio items to see if the behaviour is the same on new ones.
A clue; after clicking on any of the items the URL looks like this:
https://yoursite.com//portfolio-item/logofolio
Note the extra forward slash after the top domain.
Best regards,
Rikard -
