    I want to divide two sections by using an image– not an ordinary separator.

    The ordinary separator does not have the aesthetically pleasing affect that i desire.

    As i am desiring an Military-themed website, I want to have a stripe of a flag divide my sections.
    I have accomplished this goal by using a color section and making the background image be the custom-made image.
    Please view here– scroll down on the page http://www.globalbusinessincubation.com/wordpress/business-summit
    …But the color section has some default padding.

    1. If that could be removed, I would be able to make the American Flag Stripe smoothly separate two sections.
    Imagine the blue background color section; then a red section after it….. and smooth stripe right in between the two, without any space in front of back of the stripe.

    2. If i could simply insert an image and make it full-width of the website, I would also be able to succeed in my goal.
    But, i cannot. For some reason, the image cannot stretch all the way across the webpage– it stops at some invisible border;
    taking away from the deep effect of separation.

    Hey elliotstiller!

    Can you please post the link to image you would like to use as your separator?

    Cheers!

    Hi,

    Could you try changing the Background Image Position to for instance Center Center to see if that helps? You could try different settings in the Background Repeat option as well.

    Best regards,
