October 15, 2014 at 10:41 am #336038I might be wrong but it appears that the Hebrew files uploaded by Tal (https://kriesi.at/support/topic/please-contribute-and-translate-enfold/page/8/#post-320407) do not contain any translation.. :(Can someone please confirm it?
never mind, got it – will continue translating more strings

October 17, 2014 at 5:04 pm #337445And how do I turn OFF these backend translations, please??
My website has plenty more languages than I can speak/read, so it’s important that I can edit all languages and still know wth I’m doing.
For example, when I want to insert and edit a Portfolio Grid (all elements are translated as well, so luckily there are still icons in them):
All of the settings of the pop-up editor are also translated. I cannot understand it anymore. Like Italian, I don’t speak that language, but when I’m editing my Italian website I get settings like:Quali Voci?
Selezionare le voci da visualizzare selezionando una tassonomiaEuhm, right, that’s where I need to edit … what exactly?
I seriously need to find a way to deactivate backend translations. I’m sure it’s caused by Enfold because everything WP native is still in English while most of Enfold is translated.
October 20, 2014 at 4:49 pm #338452Where should I put translation files in child theme for Enfold?
October 29, 2014 at 3:57 am #342539Hey!
you would probably need to use a function like this: http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/load_child_theme_textdomain
Or you can send us your additional translations and we will add it to the next them update ;)

KriesiOctober 29, 2014 at 8:45 am #342606Hi,

https://www.dropbox.com/s/ez8thdzbgf2dwej/he_IL.po?dl=0This is still a work in progress and I’m adding more strings as I find them in my site.
I also would like to share my rtl.css (from my child theme) as it fixes some of the rtl issues:

November 24, 2014 at 4:04 pm #356893November 24, 2014 at 10:33 pm #357174Schade, dass meine Sprachdatei (die einige für Firmen-Websites peinliche Fehler korrigiert hat) keinen Weg in eines der letzten Updates gefunden hat. Dann pflege ich weiterhin eine eigene Sprachdatei. Edit: Möchte ich aber eigentlich nicht. Ich würde mich über eine Rückmeldung freuen.

@strom84: All you need is a text editor or POEdit software to create the po and mo files. Refer to this link: http://www.icanlocalize.com/site/tutorials/how-to-translate-with-gettext-po-and-pot-files/

IsmaelJanuary 3, 2015 at 12:14 am #374326@hi Ismael,
Can’t find any link to the Swedish translation i know that you have made some progress here ;-)
January 7, 2015 at 12:08 am #375928Hey!
@strom84, The file you need is /enfold/lang/enfold.pot. Open it up in POedit and do the translations and you should have a .po / .mo file now. You can give that to us and we’ll see about getting it added in.
Cheers!
ElliottJanuary 21, 2015 at 6:00 pm #383207@DDamjamnovic: Thank you for correcting the file. I’ll ask Kriesi to add it on the update.
@Ismael: After two months the translations are still faulty. Very annoying.January 24, 2015 at 10:10 am #384813I don’t know who translated the theme into Danish but it is really bad. A lot of rubbish words, missing words etc.
January 24, 2015 at 7:14 pm #384934Hi,
I have partly translated Enfold in Latvian- the part which is visible to users.

January 25, 2015 at 10:13 pm #385194I will look into translating Enfold into danish. I am a native speaker. The current version is terrible.
January 25, 2015 at 11:02 pm #385204Will there be notifications in this thread regarding additions and removals of strings from the theme? (BTW – 10% for danish now).
