January 2, 2015 at 4:09 pm #374080As it looks like there is a bug in the theme, on IE browser, I just like to know how I get the placeholder text to show up in the search field, when using a IE browser? January 2, 2015 at 9:18 pm #374225Hey 247photo! I’m not sure if IE supports the placeholder attribute. I found this which you can try out, http://www.hagenburger.net/BLOG/HTML5-Input-Placeholder-Fix-With-jQuery.html. And this, http://www.jacklmoore.com/notes/form-placeholder-text/. Cheers!

January 2, 2015 at 9:27 pm #374232I do believe you are right, but I will hope that Kreisi are going to fix this bug in there coding, as IE do support placeholder text, if the coding is don the right way, but then again seeing all they other bug that pop up, on a IE browser with this theme, I will not hold my breath for a fix soon, as it looks like this is a one browser theme. January 3, 2015 at 2:41 am #374382Hi! It’s funny how you say that Enfold is a “one browser theme” just because a placeholder won’t work on a legacy browser. With 45,000 ++ users and counting, I doubt that is true. The input placeholder is not supported on IE9 and lower (http://caniuse.com/#feat=input-placeholder). Please hire a freelance developer if you want to force the placeholder attribute on these legacy browsers. Best regards,
