Hi there
I have been testing a site I have created to try and speed up load time and used the pingdom speed test and it is showing a redirect on the home page https://test.kriesi.at/construction/wp-content/uploads/sites/7/2015/10/house-wire-model-fade-white-1500×1085.png.
I originally used the construction demo to create the site – but why would this data still be on the site? I would like to remove this as its showing 3 x on the homepage and I think is causing some load time issues. This is one of the areas I found it in.
style=”background-repeat: no-repeat; background-image: url(https://test.kriesi.at/construction/wp-content/uploads/sites/7/2015/10/house-wire-model-fade-white-1500×1085.png); background-attachment: scroll; background-position: top left; “
Hey xfacta,
Can you try installing a search and replace plugin and replace all instances of http://test.kriesi.at/construction/ to your site’s url. Make sure to do a backup first.
Best regards,
Nikko
Hi there
thanks for this I will try. but its looking for a specific image file – do I need to have that file?
Hi,
No you don’t but the link to that image is still set as background image to some sections you have, we can help you remove it, just provide us with temporary admin access.

Nikko
Thank you – info provided ;-)
