Pingdom is reporting:
“Resources with a “?” in the URL are not cached by some proxy caching servers. Remove the query string and encode the parameters into the URL for the following resources:”
…/assets/fonts/entypo-fontello.woff?v=3
I have both Query Strippers and CloudFlare’s Query String removal enabled yet this is still showing.
Is it a false alert? Aside from Google’s Analytics script, this is the only other thing which has taken my score down (85 on this alone.)
How can we fix this?
Hey lunarstudio,
maybe a plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/remove-query-strings-from-static-resources/ could help you in this case.
Best regards,
Andy
Sorry for the late reply.
I was using another plugin called Query Strings Remover but it doesn’t catch that. I suppose I can try your plugin instead but I doubt it will catch that.
Hi,
Thanks for the feedback, please try to plugin out and let us know how you get on with it.
Thanks,
Rikard
I’ve tried that mentioned plugin and it didn’t helped a bit, but this helped: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/removing-entypo-font-version-string/#post-239223
