    Hi,
    It seems when I create a post that links to another on my website I get this question on email from wordpress.
    A new pingback on the post “xx” is waiting for your approval

    When I click on approving it, it says:
    Caution: You are about to approve the following comment:

    So, is this a comment approval or is it a link approval request and what is the purpose?

    Hey Jon Erik,

    I’m not sure to be honest, could you try asking the same question on a general WordPress forum maybe? I think you are likely to get a better answer there as we more or less only handle theme specific questions.
