how come that even if i select original widht x original height in the picture gallery
there is still scaling?
like a picture that is 600px wide comes, in reality luike 779px on my screen.
the problem is that at the bottom it goes out of view, which is very ugly.
why is it called ‘original widht x original height ‘ when in fact thats not true?
and how can i manage to keep – except from making them extra small – the pics always totally “in-screen”, as wel as width and height, on every screen-resolution?
Hi!
That’s simply not possible, the theme needs to adjust the images in order to fit them on the fluid layout, the images in the gallery are indeed the original non-resized ones but they’re adjusted to the current window size.

ok, so, imagine i have this image of 495×400
than it will get stretched on my screen like to lets say 750 pixels
aint that damaging the quality of the pic? (like its getting blurry)
if so: how to prevent this?
Hi!
If the image is scaled up yes, it will get blurry because the theme will stretch it. To prevent this you can do two things:
– Upload bigger images, for example, your site is 1310px and your galleries sit on 2/3 columns, so all images need to be at least 783px wide to prevent them to scale up.
– Or you can simply reduce the layout width, making the columns widths decrease as they are percentage based.
Cheers!
