Hi !!!
We need your help please.We have a lot of errors about PHP Warning: Creating default object from empty value like those (we just migrate from wordpress.com to wordpress.org) :

We have Kinsta hosting, and in the logs reports the problem still happen, they said that :
“That would be a PHP warning from the “enfold” theme, usually PHP warnings don’t cause any site breaking functionality, but if it is or you’re concerned with it, it’d be best to forward the error along to the theme developers for further investigation”

We have already reported this warning to our devs.
Atm, we can only suggest clearing the cache to make sure that it’s not the cached version that’s served on the site and switch to 7.3 (which most people said have fixed the issue) since this issue is still under queue for investigation.Best regards,
NikkoMy site occasionally gets messed up when editing, normally content in Color Sections.
I don’t see a pattern, sometimes it corrects itself after clearing cache. But it keeps coming back, and steals a lot of time messing around with.
When the error occurs, and stuff disappears from the site, there is a naked line at top saying usually this:
Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /var/www/futuretv.dk/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/php/asset-manager.class.php on line 897
The error line number can shift. Often I only see the error when logged into WordPress, making it almost impossible to edit.
Also, my editing interface in WordPress seems much slower than usual since this error started occurring.I am running Hummingbird for clearing cache, but doing this for the whole site does not help.
I am running an updated WordPress, Enfold 7.4.13, and PHP version 7.4.13

I certainly hope you know what causes this, and can immediately provide a fix, or some kind of work-around.Right now it is messed up, and I am having customers going to the site tomorrow for watching a webinar :-(

Hi Nikko,
The problem still occurs, i created a staging site to probe but don´t work, is the same error and another problem appears, when i clean the cache, the CSS of the homepage breaks, socket colors and background color of the flying menu, fonts color, etc…I can´t change it by Enfold menu and neither by custom CSS. Othaer page work fine, but homepage not recognize the modifies.
I really hope you can help me please.

Can you give us access to the staging site? so we can investigate on the issue.
Those warnings shouldn’t cause any performance issues but it would be better to clear it.Best regards,

I have looked into it and enabled WordPress Debugging however I could not find the PHP Warning: Creating default object from empty value showing up.
Usually this error Appears in the Dashboard > Home or in Dashboard > Updates but I could not find it except for this warning:Warning: is_dir(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/www/mednaturalis_778/public/wp-content/themes/bookshop) is not within the allowed path(s): (/www/mednaturalis_778/public:/www/mednaturalis_778/mysqleditor:/www/mednaturalis_778/web:/www/mednaturalis_778/deploy:/www/mednaturalis_778/deployment:/www/mednaturalis_778/deployments:/usr/share:/tmp) in /www/mednaturalis_778/public/wp-includes/theme.php on line 509even switching Enfold to TwentyTwenty or TwentyTwentyOne, this error still appears.
