PHP Version for Enfold

Hi,

My main site has abundance theme. On another server we created a carbon copy of the site like 2 months ago and we have just changed the theme and set all the pages. Now it is ready for migration to the main server.

This night our developer tried to move the site with Enfold theme to the original one but before that he deleted the original site but he could not complete the task. Our upgraded site could not be installed on the server. It is because of the lower PHP version of the main site as he claimed. He said that it is not enfold but the overall structure of the upgraded site itself. I did not understand what he means by the overall structure but it does not matter.

As it is said It is the “5.3.17” PHP version that causes the problem, he wanted me to update the PHP version of the server from “5.3.17” to “5.5.3“.

The question is here: if this 5.5.3 PHP version may have problems with the theme in any respect or not. Could you inform me please. I am giving the main site and the upgraded site information in private content.
