    Hi there,

    We’re having issues when we try to update our version of PHP. When our hosting provider (123Reg) updates our site to either PHP v 7.2 or 7.3, our website stops loading content properly. According to our host ‘The issue is caused by the theme of the website’ and there are messages in the error logs to show this (which are noted in the private content below).

    Our host has suggested we speak with you as our theme developer. Can you help please?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. Is it the site in private? If so then it looks like you are running the latest version of the theme.

    Please send us a temporary WordPress admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.

    Hi Gemma,

    Thanks for that, I see that you are currently running 5.6.40. We would have to see the actual problem in order to help you out, could you copy the site to a staging site and update the PHP version there maybe? The theme is compatible with the PHP versions you referred to in your initial post, so the problem is likely caused by something else on your site.

    I see that you are running a child theme, but I can’t access it to check the code you have in there. Does it work as it should if you activate the parent theme?
