Hello. I have made customisations to both the postslider.php and the loop-index.php with your help. To avoid changes during theme updates, do I need to store these somewhere special? I understand use of custom css in the child theme, but don’t understand php backup. Could you please advise? Thanks!

You can add a folder called “includes” in the child theme and put the loop-index.php in there.
