Hello I am a digital agency and our client is using Enfold 4.0.5 and we tried to upgrade to php 8.1 from php 7.4 and it gives us a fatal error related to your website.
If we upgrade to Enfold 5:
1. Should this give us php 8.1 support.
2. Will this affect our 4.0.4 design in any way.Hi Ryan,

1. Yes, the latest version of Enfold support PHP 8.
2. It does not really affect the design, however, if the theme has a child theme with modifications (like in header.php or footer.php) then those files will need to get updated as well.
But we always suggest to backup the site first before doing updates, also, to make risk lesser, create a staging site and perform the updates there first, to see if the update goes well without affecting the live site.Best regards,
