BasilisApril 18, 2016 at 9:46 am #616219Hello Basillis,
The folder is not giving masonry layout. http://xandrianoir.com/photography-2/
I chose the element ‘Portfolio Grid’. It does not have Masonry option. If I choose Masonry element the that is only for blog. What should I do?
Thanks,
XNApril 18, 2016 at 9:48 am #616221Oh, sorry got it (i guess). It’s the custom thumbnail setting. Let me check it out, if not working, will respond.

RikardApril 21, 2016 at 7:23 am #618965Hello Rikard,
Getting back to the issue … :) , I have tried Masonry and Portfolio Grid (both elements) on this page to see the look but in masonry element, the pictures don’t open in lightbox and also the grey border is not looking nice. In Portfolio Grid, (the bottom one) the images have space although I have set it to masonry and also tried all other settings. http://xandrianoir.com/photography-2/
Can you tell me which setting will bring the look I am looking for? I need the second column of the Portfolio Grid to shift up and not leave space. (I am also making this site, may be this can explain my question well. http://morsche.co/photography/ )
Thanks
XANDRIAApril 21, 2016 at 9:37 am #619007Hey!
Please use the below settings as seen in the screenshot to achieve something very similar to what you are looking for. You need to disable the caption from the elements caption tab on top.
Cheers!
VinayApril 21, 2016 at 3:21 pm #619217Thank you for your reply.
Masonry gallery does open in lightbox but does not have the portfolio entries option. It requires users to add images from the gallery. This would be fine for small gallery but since I will be adding hundreds of images and several categories , it would soon become impossible to organize. Also, it does not have ‘sort’ option.
I guess in that case, it is better to keep ‘Masonry’.
So about
1. lightbox,
2. background color,
3. and the box around the ‘categories’,I will request you to please give me codes to enter in quick css. It has always been helpful.
Your help will improve the look of the theme.

April 26, 2016 at 1:25 pm #622098Hi!
I checked both websites you have provided and the images open up in lightboxes for me. Could you fix it? if not where can we see the issue actually? please provide us a precise link.
Best regards,
AndyApril 27, 2016 at 6:33 am #622750Hello Andy,
This is my test page with both Masonry and Portfolio Grid http://xandrianoir.com/photography-2/
Please see that I have put both elements to show the settings. Masonry is giving perfect masonry as I want but it doesn’t open in lightbox. And I also don’t think that the background box is a attractive. hence I want to change the color and remove the box around the sort option.
Portfolio grid is set to masonry setting but it aligns the top of all images. It shouldn’t be like this.

XANDRIAMay 3, 2016 at 1:22 pm #626400Hi,
please use Masonry Gallery element instead of Masonry element, to be able to open images in a lightbox.

AndyMay 3, 2016 at 2:35 pm #626471Hi,
I am very positive that through a code, it is possible to open Masonry in lightbox. The Masonry Gallery does not pick portfolio posts and I have been telling the support this. Please give this option in Masonry. It is a very hit thing these days. (Besides, how is this even possible to edit hundreds of images conveniently in gallery? )
Kindly ask the theme developers to create a code for this.
Thanks.
